Pattonville Seeking Senior Adult Volunteers to Help Boost Reading and Language Skills
The Pattonville School District is currently seeking senior adults to volunteer for its intergenerational tutoring program. All Pattonville elementary schools participate in this program which matches trained volunteers with students in kindergarten through third grade. Each volunteer spends about 40 minutes once a week working one-on-one with a child on reading and language skills. continued...

 

Preschool Play School Opens at Pattonville
Enrollment is open for Play School for preschool children at Pattonville High School. Children must be at least two years old to enroll. The Play School is part of the high school child development program, a division of the Consumer and Family Sciences Department. Bob Drummond Honored with Community Service Award
Bob Drummond, serving his 30th year on the Pattonville School District Board of Education, was recently honored with the 2001 Community Service Award sponsored by Commerce Bank. In addition to the personal honor, the recipient receives a grant to contribute to an organization of his choice.
