Pattonville Heights named a top fund-raising school for cancer research

Pattonville Heights Middle School was named among the top three fund-raising schools in Missouri for cancer research. Students and staff at Pattonville Heights raised more than $3,000 for cancer research after participating the Olive Garden’s Pennies for Pasta, a program to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s School and Youth Campaign.(continued)

Pattonville to offer summer camps

The community education program of the Pattonville School District is offering camps for children in conjunction with the enrichment program being provided at Drummond Elementary School during June. Camps run each week and follow dismissal of daily enrichment classes.(continued)

Pattonville will hold its 20th annual Pattonville Wellness Run/Walk on Saturday, May 10, beginning at Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road in Maryland Heights. The 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by a one-mile medal run/walk for children at 9:30 a.m.(continued)

Board names new Holman Middle School principal

The Pattonville Board of Education on March 24 selected Teisha Ashford as principal of Holman Middle School, effective July 1, 2008. Ashford is currently an assistant principal at Pattonville Heights Middle School. Ashford replaces Jim Schwab, who will retire at the end of the current school year.(continued)

Pattonville Board names new Activities Director

The Pattonville Board of Education on March 24 selected Bob Hebrank as activities director at Pattonville High School, effective July 1, 2008. Hebrank is currently athletic/activities director and dean of students at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School. He replaces Terry Funderburk, who will retire at the end of the current school year.(continued)

Pattonville NHS to host rummage sale April 12

The Pattonville High School National Honor Society (NHS) is sponsoring a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 12 in the high school cafeteria. Proceeds will benefit the NHS scholarship fund.(continued)

Pattonville make state's Top 10 lists
for highest performing schools seven times

Two Pattonville schools recently were named to seven of the state's "highest performing" Top 10 lists based on scores on the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) tests. “Taste of Pattonville” Sampler Night coming April 10

The Pattonville High School Renaissance and Character Education Committee is hosting the school’s second annual “Taste of Pattonville” Sampler Night, a fun event featuring samples from more than 25 restaurants and businesses in the Pattonville area. Board names new principal for Briar Crest Elementary

The Pattonville Board of Education on March 11 unanimously selected Jerona Washington as principal of Briar Crest Elementary, effective July 1, 2008. Washington is currently assistant principal of Holman Middle School in Pattonville, a position she has held since 2005.(continued)

1988 Pattonville graduate headed into space tomorrow morning
